What is Shouting?
Shouting is how you communicate with people on Limbo. Think of it as IM for your phone. Shouting allows multiple people to communicate in one messaging thread using SMS, mobile web, web or iPhone.
How do I Shout with someone?
Go to the "Who" tab and click on their picture. From here you can send a Shout or add others to the Shout. If you Shout to a Fave, Friend or Contact they will get a text message on their phone. They can reply and your conversation will stay as a Shout session between the two of you. You can also invite a Limbo Member to become your Contact by Shouting to them.
How do I Shout with multiple people?
When you are Shouting with one person, feel free to include some others in the conversation. All you need to do is click ADD and select someone from your Fave, Friend or Contact list.
Who can get my Shouts?
Anyone with a phone that can receive text messages can get your Shout. Check our Carrier Guide for a list of supported Carriers. Your friend will need to be signed up with Limbo to in order to Shout with you.
Is there a cost to Shout?
Yes, there are no fees to Shout from Limbo. Standard text rates/other charges may apply. Basically if you have unlimited texting you are good to go.
What are the text commands I can use from all mobile phones?
You can manage your Limbo activities by texting the following keywords. Text all keywords to 41414
What about privacy?
From your Profile page, you can set which groups (Faves, Friends, Contacts, Members) can see your activity and location. With the “Do Not Disturb” feature, You can control their own availability and interactions with others.
How long are my Shouts saved?
You can delete your Shouts online one at a time. If you don't delete them, your Shouts will be saved for 30 days.
How do I Opt Out of Limbo Shouts?
You can opt out of receiving Limbo messages one of three ways:
1) You can text STOP ALL to 41414 to opt out of receiving all Limbo messages.
2) You can use our online form to contact us and we'll opt you out within 1 business day.
3) Use our automated opt out system by calling from the mobile phone that is getting the messages:
If you want to manage or stop getting text messages and alerts from Limbo, you can call the below number. This is an automated system that detects what number you are calling from, so you will have to call from the mobile phone getting the text messages. Calling from your home phone won't work: Call 1-888-335-4953
If you would like to unsubscribe from our Limbo iPhone App, you can call the below number. This number is for the iPhone app only. Only use this number if you have downloaded the Limbo app from the Apple App Store: Call 1-866-640-7790
